On Thursday 11 May, Feilden House held a picnic on the school fields. Over a delicious lunch prepared with flair by the Catering staff, pupils, students and staff relaxed and enjoyed a rare glimpse of sunshine.
While the wonderful food was a huge hit with everyone, the sports afterwards generated equal enthusiasm. A competitive and enthusiastic game of rounders ensued, with mixed-age teams taking part, and resulted in an incomprehensible, yet controversial, final score. Skipping was equally popular, not least among certain tutors.
The picnic was a lovely way for members of Feilden House to come together just ahead of the examination season.
