As part of our topic about 'People who help us', we had a visit from a very special helper. Ms Jackson brought her eight year old Alaskan Malamute dog, Goose, to School for us to meet.
Goose visits people in hospitals to make them feel better and happier. We discovered that the best way of greeting dogs is to always gain permission from their owner, then let the dog smell your hand before stroking it. Goose had very ticklish paws! We compared the size of our hands with Goose's paws. His paws were much bigger!
