Junior School Cross Country Competition

All classes in Junior School participated in the cross country races on Tuesday 22 March in pleasant, Spring-like conditions.

The Reception class showed the way, and the Year 1 and 2 race featured the opportunity to complete an additional lap, which many runners chose to do. There were impressive runs from many pupils in the Year 3 and 4 race, with a notable run from Will MacLeod (Year 4, Gwyn) who finished third, but also picked up Findlay Knox’s (Year 4, Baker) errant shoe on the way! Pleasingly, the Year 5 and 6 race again saw many runners completing the two laps. Once the scores had been tallied up, the captains for winning House, Baker - James Furlong-Price (Year 6, Baker) and Scarlet Munn (Year 6, Baker) -were presented with the trophy.
