'On Friday 19 June, the Fifth Form attended School for our dinner. This allowed us to celebrate the end of a gruelling month of GCSE exams. For some it was their last time being a pupil at Cokethorpe, others the final day before Sixth Form...but for all it was a well earned treat.
The evening began with everyone arriving in style, in their dresses or suits, starting with drinks outside the Dining Hall. There was a photo booth and red carpet out during the evening which means we all have amazing photos to remember the evening by in years to come. Thankfully it stayed sunny for the evening.
Inside we had an array of lights and flowers as centre pieces on the tables, with a slideshow playing in the background, containing a selection of pictures of our year group over the last five years which brought a smile to everyone's faces. The food was spectacular with a prawn cocktail starter, steak main and a selection of desserts.
After our meal we enjoyed speeches from Mr Lawson, Mr Farrow, and student Ardan Devine (Fifth Form, Queen Anne). These had everyone laughing and reminiscing about our time spent at Cokethorpe School. It was the perfect end to a wonderful evening and I know we all thoroughly enjoyed it. For us, the dinner was the great end to a tough year. Good luck to everyone on results day, and thank you for a great year.'

Special thanks to Carpet Options in Witney for providing the red carpet which was pivotal to the theme for the evening!
