Choral Evensong

The Choir sang their final Choral Evensong Service for the year on Monday 8 June in the Chapel to a congregation of appreciative parents and staff.

Reverend Alistair Blaine from St Mary’s Church in Witney led a peaceful and reflective service and a gave a thought provoking sermon on Thomas Ken, former Bishop of Bath and Wells who’s feast day was being celebrated.

The Choir were in fine voice, giving one of their best performances of the year singing Chilcott’s Be Thou My Vision, an arrangement of a South African Alleluya and Dyson’s Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis in C Minor
