OC Henry Purdy (OC 2012, Queen Anne) made his Aviva Premiership debut at Kingsholm on Friday 19 September as Gloucester Rugby took on Exeter Chiefs in a nail biting match that saw Exeter narrowly beat Gloucester by 25 points to 22.
Henry's post match interview can be seen on Gloucester Rugby's website.
Henry first played rugby aged seven at Chipping Norton RFC and went on to appear for Oxfordshire Schools U16 and U18, South West U18 and England U18 Clubs and Schools. He has also played for England U20 and is a Junior World Championship winner.
Henry moved to Gloucester Rugby from Leicester Tigers in the summer 2014.
Mr Cummins comments 'Myself, Mr Morgan and no doubt all those who watched or played alongside Henry at Cokethorpe have enjoyed witnessing his progress. Being involved in two successful U20 World Cups, gaining opportunities with Leicester and now making his Premiership debut for Gloucester is an exciting development in his short rugby career to date and I am delighted to see a former pupil show that it can be done'.
