About Working at Cokethorpe

Cokethorpe School is an independent HMC day school for some 660 boys and girls and employs over 170 members of staff in both teaching and non-academic roles. Set in beautiful parkland just outside Witney, it is situated in attractive grounds on the edge of the Cotswolds, which is a convenient distance from Oxford.

Cokethorpe prides itself on creative, dynamic and innovative teaching and its vibrant community atmosphere makes for both a stimulating and enjoyable environment in which to work. We employ dedicated and skilled staff who the School in turn provides with professional development opportunities.

Cokethorpe has high academic standards while also placing emphasis on outstanding pastoral care and offering a wide and varied range of extra-curricular and sporting activities; a significant contribution to the wider school is expected of all staff. The School has exceptional facilities and resources, the most recent being a new Dining Hall and Sixth Form Centre that opened in September 2009.
