Thank you to our generous and dedicated supporters who have made the Annual Fund such an incredible success. Since the Annual Fund launched in September 2009, we have raised just over £237,000.
This money has gone towards a wide range of projects that have without doubt added to the experience of school for our pupils and provided opportunities to discover new skills and activities. A selection of these projects includes:
Break Dancing – pupils were given the opportunity to learn a new dance style that requires an immense amount of dedication and physical ability. For many it was their first introduction to a unique style of dance.
Boat House – the School was able to purchase a Boat House and surrounding land on the nearby banks of the Thames. It not only provides a base for kayaking but also provides storage for the School’s kayaks and equipment.
Phone Box – a slightly quirky item but the addition of a traditional red telephone box now sits proudly within the grounds. It is used as a book exchange to encourage pupils to explore new literature and share their own favourites.
Each year the Foundation Office produces an Annual Fund report which gives a summary of giving, apportionment of donations received, a list of completed projects, recognition of donors and a list of future projects. Previous reports can be found below.
